Tikauli, a bufferzone region of Chitwan national Park lies around 5 kilometers west of Sauraha. Tikauli Tourism Cooperative built a 10 roomed ecofriendly resort on a homestay model. Despite the charm and beauty of the place and prospective business opportunity, the community based model could not work properly and the Tikauli Homestay is currently on sale. The only reason behind the sale of this property is the lack of management system.
